Since, it was just one month. It is better to add the duration more than 1 month because the more time we have in exchange student, the more knowledge and experiences we get and we really know about the culture and education system, of course we will have more teaching practice.

Teaching Practice

After I have finished doing my lesson plan, it was time for me to have teaching practice. I was so nervous on my first teaching practice but as time goes by, I can reduce my nervousness. I start my class by greeting the students. Before I was going to deliver new lesson, I would like to review the previous lesson by asking them related to the previous materials by asking them 3 or 4 questions and also we had discussion about previous materials. Then I delivered a game related to new lesson. Next, I deliver new lesson, after I did some teaching practice, my confident grows up. I really enjoyed delivering my lessons to the students.

Teaching Practice Evaluation

here are some photos that I had teaching practice evaluation with my supervising teacher. After I did team teaching practice, DR. Victoria V Albacete as my supervising teacher gave some comments toward my teaching practice. It is very useful to have evaluation after I did teaching practice because some suggestions she gave to me to make my next teaching practice better in delivering materials.

Making Lesson Plan

Before my fourth week, it was time for me to have teaching practice. Before I did my teaching practice, I need to make lesson plans for grade 7 and 10 of junior high school. There, it was my first time making lesson plans in a school, I had detail lesson plans. Here are some pictures for lesson plans.

Dinagyang Festival

On the weekend of third week. I had Dinagyang Festival. We went to the downtown to watch Festival. It had traditional dance performed by people that from their own town, it means every town they have their own dance. They join the competition that held by the committee. We enjoyed so much the festival. It was my first time to watch it, I had culture engagement where I had more experience toward the culture. I also took a pictures with dancers after they performed their dance.

University Days

On the third week, West visayas state university has an University Days. There are many competitions while university days, some students college has participated on the competition such as public speaking, poetry, painting, literary-musical contest, Mr & Miss West Visayas State University. These competitions are good for the students in west visayas state university which makes them are able to join some competitions to improve themselves

Holiday on my second week in Iloilo City

We went to Bearland, We had overnight in Bearland. Bearland Paradise Resort is located in Iloilo city. It is facing the sea which we can enjoy the sun sets and also, it has a swimming pool where we can go swimming. We really enjoyed to stay there, I hope I can come back to this beautiful place.

Exam

In the second week, the school had exam. I supervised the class. The School had three days in exam. the class mixed with another students, it means in a class they did not have same classmates. it is a good action when this school has an exam, because students can not cheat other students near them, due to they do not have same exam paper.

Observation in Cabacanan Elementary School in Alimodian town

Still on my first week on friday, I had observation in Cabacanan Elementary School. We went to Alimodian town. After we just  arrived in Alimodian, we went to the Mayor's office of Alimodian Town. We met the Mayor, his name is Geefre A. Alonsabe. We also had our breakfast in his office. This town has so many products from its region such as, bamboo, coconut, root crop, manggo and sweet banana. and also it has many farms such as, carrot, chili, and corn. We also given an opportunity to harvest the chili in a farm, fortunately we came to farm at the right time when the farmer had their harvest, so we could do harvesting as well.
